Public Invited to Learn About Upcoming $1.366 Billion Bond Proposal
DALLAS–The first two of nine town hall briefings about the upcoming bond proposal are scheduled for ,Monday and Tuesday, November 26-27.
DISD Board of Trustees voted 9-0 November 19 to put a $1.366 billion bond election proposal before voters on Jan. 19, 2002. The board members, DISD General Superintendent Mike Moses and other district officials will be on hand at the town hall briefings to give the public the opportunity to ask questions about the bond proposal.
The first public meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 26, at W. H. Adamson High School, 201 N. 9th Street. The November 27 meeting will be at W. W. Samuell High School, 8928 Palisade Drive. Both town hall briefings will start at 7 p.m.
