DISD Superintendent, Parkland Executive Officer Attend Ceremony, December 19

DALLAS–The Dallas Independent School District and Parkland Health & Hospital System are hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, to celebrate the new facility for the Seagoville Youth and Family Center.

Who: DISD Superintendent Mike Moses and Parkland President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ron Anderson will be joined by DISD School Board Trustee George Williams and Texas State Rep. Dale Tillery at the ceremony. Students from Seagoville secondary campuses, Seagoville city officials along with 50 other DISD and Parkland staff members and community leaders are expected to be in attendance at the event.

Why: To dedicate the Seagoville Youth and Family Center's new home where students in the Seagoville community and their families will now receive expanded mental and physical health services.

Where: 15020 Seagoville Road, located on the grounds shared by Seagoville high and middle schools.
