Mike Moses to Congratulate 290 Seniors at District's Last Graduation Event of 2002
DALLAS–With General Superintendent Mike Moses in attendance, the summer school graduation, scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, will be the last graduation ceremony for the Class of 2002 of the Dallas Independent School District.
At the ceremony for 290 seniors who have completed the academic requirements for a high diploma, Moses will address the soon-to-be graduates and encourage them to continue their education beyond high school. The graduation will take place at Loos Fieldhouse, 3815 Spring Valley Lane.
In May, the district held 29 graduation ceremonies where 6,160 seniors received their high school diplomas. The Class of 2002 is the largest graduating class for DISD in more than 15 years.
