Michael and Susan Dell Foundation Announces
$385,000 Grant at News Conference Oct. 7
DALLAS–The Michael and Susan Dell Foundation will announce an insure•a•kid Texas Grant for $385,000 to the Children's Medical Center of Dallas during a news conference at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at John F. Kennedy Learning Center, 1802 Moser.
George Farr, President and CEO of Children's Medical Center of Dallas, and the Dallas Independent School District Superintendent Mike Moses will be on hand for the announcement and the kickoff of the insure•a•kid outreach initiative.
The program is an ongoing, community-wide initiative to increase the number of children covered by health insurance through the Children's Health Insurance Program and Medicaid. Children's Medical Center works with DISD to help enroll children in health insurance.
