DALLAS–After participating in Franklin Covey Company's workshops through the Dallas Independent School District professional training program, more than 800 Dallas Independent School District's principals and central administrators will have the opportunity to hear a lecture from one of America's top experts and advocates for teaching effective leadership skills.

Stephen Covey, author and founder of the international training organization committed to empowering people, will present the morning keynote address during the second day of the district's three-day leadership conference at Moises Molina High School. The morning general session begins at 8 a.m. in the school's auditorium. The school is located at 2355 Duncanville Road.

After Covey's lecture, he and DISD Superintendent Mike Moses will be available to meet with the local media at 9:35 a.m. They will answer questions and discuss why effective leadership skills are essential to improve the quality of education for schoolchildren.

Though the lecture is not open to the public, news photographers who arrive at 8 a.m., will be given the opportunity to take photos and get video footage during the first three minutes of his lecture, titled A Conversation on Leadership.
