Superintendent Mike Moses Joins Students In Greeting 33 Non-Profit Agencies At News Conference
DALLAS—Dallas Independent School District students and Superintendent Mike Moses at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb.12, will hold a news conference to announce the recipients of more than $56,000 collected during the Common Cents campaign.
Common Cents is a student-led coin collection effort designed to raise money for charity and non-profit organizations while encouraging good citizenship and social responsibility in school children.
Students from 53 DISD elementary, middle and high schools will make presentations to more than 33 local non-profit organizations in the Administration Building Auditorium, located at 3700 Ross Ave.
