DALLAS—The Dallas Independent School District Board of Trustees will host a public hearing at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, to hear community input regarding the suggested names for the district's new schools. The meeting will be held in the auditorium of the School Administration Building, 3700 Ross Ave.
Citizens interested in addressing the board should register in person or by telephone by calling the Executive Director of Board Services during regular office hours and until 3 p.m. on the day of the meeting. The phone number is 972-925-3720. Only individuals who are properly registered may address the board.
Input for the naming of new schools was submitted to the Board of Trustees, Board Services Office, and to district committees assigned to gather community suggestions. To view the suggested names, please visit www. dallasisd.org/newschoolnames.
The trustees will approve the names for these facilities at the Thursday, Feb. 26, Board of Trustees Meeting.
