Program Spotlights Employees Chosen by Peers
DALLAS– Brenda Jackson, a teacher assistant at Jimmie Tyler Brashear Early Childhood Development Center, will drive a new car during spring break, courtesy of her peers and a local car dealership.
Jackson will receive her car Friday, March 12, at 1 p.m. at the school, 3434 S. R.L. Thornton Freeway. According to her peers, Jackson comes to school every day with a smile and has a nearly perfect attendance record.
Employees of Brashear have an opportunity to win one week's use of a new car, free of charge– if selected by co-workers as Employee of the Month. Al Moten of Prestige Lincoln Mercury Mazda of Dallas developed this special partnership with Brashear Early Childhood Development Center to show appreciation to the staff for their continuous effort in educating children.
Principal Yolanda Thompson is grateful for the community's support. "Research has proven that the best environment for students to learn in is where students and staff are happy and appreciated," said Thompson.
The next winner will be selected the second week in April.
