Superintendent Mike Moses Joins Hispanic Chamber Leadership for Presentation

Dallas—Dallas Independent School District Superintendent Mike Moses will join Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation representatives for the presentation of more than $320,000 in scholarships at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 17, in the Board Room of the School Administration Building, 3700 Ross Ave.

Ninety-three scholarship recipients are DISD graduating seniors.

"When the business community and the schools work together, there is no limit to what we can do," said Moses. "One fine example is the long collaboration we have shared with the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and its Foundation. Their diligence in providing scholarship opportunities for students to pursue a college education is admirable. We are proud to have them as our partners in education."

Also present will be Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Chairwoman Arcilia Acosta, Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation President Aguinaldo Valdez, Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President Arturo Violante, event chair Nina Vaca and event co-chair Jose Gomez.
