Free field trips for students grades 3-6 begin June 30
Dallas—Dallas Independent School District's students grades three-six and their parents can enjoy more of their vacations and expand their cultural knowledge through a series of free field trips to museums and cultural centers in Dallas.
Students and parents interested in the trips should arrive at 8:30 a.m. at the following participating schools:
Richard Lagow Elementary – 637 Edgeworth
Barbara Jordan Elementary – 1111 W. Kiest Blvd.
James S. Hogg Elementary – 1144 N. Madison
Edna Rowe Elementary – 4918 HovenKamp
Chavez Learning Center – 1710 N. Carroll Nancy J. Cochran Elementary – 6000 Keeneland Pkwy.
David G. Burnet Elementary – 3200 Kinkaid
Franklin Middle School – 6920 Meadow Rd.
There will be two sessions for the field trips. The first begins June 30, July 2, 7 and 9; Session II will be offered July 14, 16, 21 and 23.
Summer in the City 2004 was created by the DISD, along with Young Audience of North Texas, Arts Partners and Dallas A Great Work Of Art. Some of the places students will visit are:

The Women's Museum Texas Discovery Gardens
Dallas Holocaust Memorial Center Dallas Museum of Art
