Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Set for Thursday, Sept. 30
DALLAS–A donation of $20,000 will make it possible for students at Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary in the Dallas Independent School District to enjoy new playground equipment.
The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 30, 9 a.m. at Bethune,1665 Duncanville Rd.
"At Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary, we strive to give all our students an excellent education," said Principal Lilia Gutierrez. "Creative play and imagination leads to academic success. The new facility will not only benefit the students, it will also bring our school community together to have a good time." The donation was made by SAP America, owned by local businessman, Russ Finks.
