Arcadia Park Elementary School and Library to be Dedicated Saturday

DALLAS–Dallas Independent School District Interim Superintendent Larry D. Groppel will be joined by neighbors and local elected officials at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Arcadia Park Elementary School, 1300 North Justin Ave., to dedicate the new school and open the new city of Dallas branch library.

Arcadia Park is one of the first schools to be built with funds from the 2002 bond program. The two-story, 90,500-square-foot building is designed to accommodate 650 students and includes 33 classrooms, a computer lab, science lab, kitchen, cafeteria, and 400-seat auditorium. Arcadia Park Branch Library is connected to the school in a first-of-its-kind joint venture with the city of Dallas.
