DALLAS—Two Dallas Independent School District Business Services officials have been placed on administrative leave with pay as part of an ongoing internal investigation associated with the district's technology department and relationships with outside vendors, the district said Thursday.
Associate Superintendent for Auxiliary Services George Sparks was placed on leave Wednesday and Division Manager of Network Services Alden Gaw was placed on leave Thursday.
"We continue to conduct an objective and thorough investigation," said DISD Superintendent Michael Hinojosa. "These two officials are on leave pending the outcome of our investigations. We hope to come to some conclusions in this matter very soon."
