DALLAS—Dallas Independent School District Trustee Ron Price Wednesday will be joined by the leaders and members of historically prominent Dallas gangs—Crips and Blood—to discuss recent developments to bring peace to the area.
The news conference is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m. in front of the Martin Luther King Jr. statue at the MLK Center located at 2922 MLK Blvd.
Trustee Price said he has recently been meeting with the leadership of prominent gangs and has negotiated a truce.
