Academies Scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12
DALLAS–Students, parents and the community in Dallas Independent School District Area 6 are invited to attend an upcoming Parent Academy at Raúl Quintanilla Sr. Middle School, 2700 Remond Drive, Saturday, Nov. 12, from 8 a.m. to noon.
The academy is designed to meet the specific needs of parents residing within the Area 6 school community.
Area 6 schools include:

The information provided in the academies allows parents to learn more about DISD policies and programs. District representatives will talk to parents about tips on performing better on tests, gang awareness, the importance of attending parent conferences and about resources available to help students pursue a higher education. Beginning computer classes also are offered.
