DALLAS–Dallas Independent School District officials will break ground on a new addition for North Dallas High School at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at 3120 North Haskell Avenue.
The three-story 31,500-square-foot building will add 19 classrooms, a computer lab, and administration offices. The new addition will complement the Romanesque Revival style of the current school. Simultaneously, the 80-year-old high school will undergo extensive renovations. The estimated cost of the complete project is $10.9 million.
The school's award-winning Estudiantina de North Dallas will perform at the groundbreaking, which is open to the public.
