Funding Will Provide After School Programs to At-Risk Children
DALLAS–The Dallas Independent School district will submit applications to the Texas Education Agency in Austin for funding from the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant in order to provide after school programs to at-risk children.
Applications will be submitted to TEA February 9. All participating schools must have an economically disadvantaged student population of 40 percent or more as is required of public schools and charters.
