Irma Rangel Young Women's Leadership School to Host the Visitors
DALLAS—The Dallas Independent School District will welcome international women economic and business leaders as they visit the Irma Rangel Young Women's Leadership School at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 24.
Among the guests are: Eman Ahmed Abdel-Salam Harfoush, from Egypt; Sahar A.E. Aburamadan, from Gaza; Tamadhir K. Hammad, from Iraq; Khdeija Mohamed El Vil Bent El Vil, from Mauritania; Sabra Ahmed Al Riyami, from Oman; Wedad Abdulfattah Ghobaish, from Saudi Arabia; and Thraya Mohammed Yaaqob, from Yemen. U.S. State Department interpreters, Raef Habbal and Mona Tahar, will accompany the women.
These visitors are invited to the United States under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
The main objective of this visit is to examine the role of educational institutions and the role of women at all levels of decision-making.
