Grades 3-6 will perform at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23
DALLAS–The Dallas Independent School District's T.G. Terry Elementary School students will perform the longest "electric slide" dance in Dallas on the playground at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 23, 6661 Greenspan.
As part of African-American History Month, students in grades three through six will take part in the dance activity. Other activities include a "Parade of Heroes," that will highlight 50 African American inventors on Feb. 28.
This year's theme for African-American History Month is "Celebrating Community: A Tribute to Black Fraternal, Social and Civic Institutions."
