Pow wow is sponsored by the American Indian Parent Committee
DALLAS—The Dallas Independent School District's American Indian Education Program will host the 7th Annual Student Pow wow, at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 25, at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center, 1201 East 8th Street.
This year's Pow wow is dedicated to honoring the life of Coach Mike Frick who was a longtime supporter of the program.
The schedule of events is as follows:
11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Gourd Dancing
2 p.m. Grand entry – (Boys and Girls)
4 p.m. – 5 p.m. - Dinner break
5:30 p.m. Grand Entry – Toddlers, Juniors and Teen Contests
