Students to record music and produce video with The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus
DALLAS– The Dallas Independent School District's Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts students will spend a day with the popular musical group, the Black Eyed Peas, at 9:30 a.m., Friday, April 7, at the Smirnoff Centre, 1818 First Ave.
With assistance from the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus and the Black Eyed Peas, students will record a song and film a video. They will complete the project on the Bus, which is a mobile recording and video production studio outfitted with the latest musical instruments, computers, recording equipment and video production gear.
The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is dedicated to providing young people with opportunities to tour the studios and participate in songwriting and multimedia workshops.
