Information about services offered by the district to special needs children will be offered
DALLAS_The Dallas Independent School District will host two information sessions Wednesday,
April 26, for private school representatives to inform them about services offered by the district to special needs children.
Meetings will be held at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the School Administration Building, 3700 Ross Avenue, Room 346.
Participants from private schools located within the district's boundaries will be provided information on how to access equitable special education and related services for children with disabilities placed in private schools. Information about Child Find, a program that provides assessments of children who may be in need of special services, also will be available.
