John Eagle Dealerships Sponsor Emmy Award Winning Show
DALLAS_The latest edition of the student-hosted television show School Zone Dallas, produced by the Dallas Independent School District, will air at 6:30 p.m. on WFAA-Channel 8, Monday, April 24, courtesy of John Eagle Auto Dealerships. The program will air in place of Entertainment Tonight.
Hosted from the Environmental Education Center, the show will feature stories about an exceptional student at Hillcrest High School who received guidance from the Margaret and Gilbert Herrera Student Intake Center; a teacher from Eduardo Mata Elementary School who plays professional women's football; and students at William B. Travis Academy who connected to Dallas history by listening to Voices from the Past. DISD's exemplary schools also will be highlighted.
This year's cast of students includes Joanna Sanchez, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts; Darrell Pryor, Magnet Center for Public Services: Government, Law and Law Enforcement at the Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center; Bridgette Bennett, David W. Carter High School; Cynthia Cordona, W. H. Adamson High School; Courtney Cunniff, Woodrow Wilson High School; Rafael Fields, South Oak Cliff High School; Enrique Guerrero, Moisés E. Molina High School; Erica Hollingsworth, Lincoln High School; Ivan Jones, Skyline High School; and Orlando Rojas, W. T. White High School.
