More that 125 students to receive diplomas
DALLAS–The Dallas Independent School District will hold its GED Graduation Ceremony at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 10, at Molina High School, 2355 Duncanville Road.
"The GED graduation ceremony reinforces that it's never too late to learn," says Martin Riojas, director of Adult Basic Education. "These adult learners have acquired skills that will help them increase their options for employment in the future."
The Adult Basic Education Program coordinates the graduation ceremony and will also include the National Adult Education Honor Society Induction during the ceremony. More than 125 adult learners will receive their diploma this year. The oldest graduate is 77 years old.
