As the fastest growing segment of the U.S. workforce, increasing college graduation rates among Hispanics will lead to better paying jobs for more individuals, families, and communities. Doubling the rate at which Hispanics earn college degrees (to only 18 percent) by 2010 would yield $7.6 billion in increased tax revenue over the lifetime of the students and generate at least $14 billion in disposable income for savings, investment, and economic stimulus.
