Reports can now be made online as well as by phone
DALLAS–The Dallas Independent School District provides another way for people to report unethical or fraudulent behavior. Confidential reports can now be made online as well as by phone.
Staff, students, parents, and others may use EthicsPoint, a third-party Web site at www.ethicspoint.com, to file a report online and to later follow-up on the report. Reports are confidential, anonymous, and web-based.
"In our goal to ensure the district's integrity, we need the community's trust and support," said Superintendent Michael Hinojosa. "Providing another outlet through which unethical or fraudulent behavior can be reported will help gain credibility from the district's staff and the community."
Using the web-based system, people can make suggestions and positive comments, report fraudulent or unethical behavior, and ask for clarification of district policy.
Reports can also be made over the phone by calling the EthicsPoint toll-free reporting number at 866-ETHICS-P (1-866-384-4277).
The district also offers a bilingual, confidential, and toll-free, 24-hour fraud hotline to file a report. An outside firm administers the 1-800-530-1608 Dallas ISD fraud hotline.
