Districts 4, 5 and 7 up for election
DALLAS—The filing period for those who want to run for positions on the Dallas Independent School District Board of Trustees begins Saturday, February 10, 2007.
The Office of Board Services will begin accepting applications Monday, February 12, 2007.
Trustees for District 4, currently represented by Nancy Bingham; District 5, currently represented by Lew Blackburn, Ph.D.; and District 7, currently represented by Jerome Garza, will be elected in May.
Candidates may file the necessary paperwork at the Office of Board Services, 3700 Ross Ave., until March 12. No applications will be accepted after 5 p.m.
