Certified Teachers and Alternative Certification Candidates Are Welcome
DALLAS—The Dallas Independent School District will hold a Math and Science Job Fair to recruit teachers at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 3, at Hillcrest High School, 9924 Hillcrest Road
The purpose of the job fair is to recruit math and science teachers and degreed professionals who would like to become math and science teachers.
The Dallas ISD teacher salary range is $42,000-$66,978, with an annual stipend of $2,500. Also, signing bonuses will be available.
Certified teachers can apply online at www.dallasisd.org and must provide proof of certification at the event.
Alternative certification candidates must have a four-year degree with 24 credit hours in math or science, a 2.5 overall GPA or 2.75 in the last 60 hours of coursework. The candidates can download an application and reference form from www.teachfordallas.com. Candidates also are asked to bring transcripts from each college or university attended.
