Election Day is May 12, 2007
DALLAS—Monday, March 12, 2007, is the last day to file for positions in the upcoming Dallas Independent School District Board of Trustees election.
Even though the School Administration Building is closed for Spring Break, March 12-16, the Office of Board Services will remain open March 12 for those who want to file for a position on the school board. No election applications will be accepted after 5 p.m.
District seats in the election are: District 4, Southeast Dallas and Seagoville; District 5, East Oak Cliff, and parts of Downtown, Oak Lawn and West Dallas; and District 7, North Central Oak Cliff and parts of West Dallas. Trustees currently representing these districts are: Nancy Bingham, District 4; Lew Blackburn, District 5, and Jerome Garza, District 7.
