Forum Scheduled for Tuesday, May 15, at Cesar Chavez Learning Center
DALLAS–Dallas Independent School District parents, guardians and community members are invited to a public forum as the district introduces a draft of the Local Education Agency Entitlement Plan for the 2007-2008 school year at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 15, at Cesar Chavez Learning Center, 1710 N. Carroll.
The LEA Entitlement Plan is also part of the No Child Left Behind Act. The projected budget for the 2007-2008 school year is based on a comprehensive needs assessment that provides strategic goals for program allocation.
The public is encouraged to give comments before the plans are finalized.
