Participants must register by May 21 to participate in event
DALLAS— The Dallas ISD Adult Basic Education Department is planning a Spring/Summer
graduation ceremony for adult students who obtained their GED this year.
Commencement exercises for GED recipients will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Skyline High School, 7777 Forney Road, Dallas, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Adult students in Dallas County should register with the department to participate in the graduation ceremony. The deadline for registration is May 21, 2007. There are no fees involved.
"Students of all ages who never completed their high school education, but got a second chance with Adult Basic Education and succeeded, will have an opportunity to walk the stage on this important day," Sylvia Bougacha, specialist, Adult Basic Education program.
The ceremony will be followed by a reception for students and their families.
