Children Ages One through 18 To Receive a Free Lunch and Snack Daily
DALLAS—To ensure that Dallas' youth will not go without proper nutrition during the summer months, the Dallas Independent School District's Food and Child Nutrition Services Department, in conjunction with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, is sponsoring the 2007 Summer Food Service Program. The program begins Tuesday, May 29, and ends August 10, 2007.
Children and youth (ages one to 18) can receive a free lunch and snack each day at any of the more than 90 sites throughout the city, including parks, recreational centers, churches and other activity centers. Among the participating sites are:
