Dallas ISD Facilities Task Force Invites Community To Public Forums

First Public Forum Scheduled for Tuesday, June 5

DALLAS–The Dallas Independent School District Facilities Task Force will be hosting a series of public forums to receive the community's input regarding the condition and capacity of current school facilities.

The first forum is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5, at 6:30 p.m., at Leonides Gonzalez Cigarroa, M.D., Elementary School, 9990 Webb Chapel Road.

The task force is an ad hoc group of Board of Trustees' appointees, local chamber of commerce members, and Dallas ISD principals that is analyzing the condition and capacity of district buildings and comparing that information with demographic data and projected student enrollment. The task force will report their findings to the Board of Trustees in August.
