Clear and Mesh Backpacks Are Not Required
DALLAS–The Dallas Independent School District's policy requiring students to use clear or mesh backpacks for the 2007-2008 school year was revoked as a districtwide policy by the Board of Trustees in June.
As a reminder, the district does not require backpacks, however, parents may choose to send their children to school with or without a backpack.
Dallas ISD schools start Monday, August 27.
