Central staff and students return on Tuesday, September 4

DALLAS— Schools and administrative offices in the Dallas Independent School District will be closed Monday, September 3, in observance of Labor Day.

Schools and administrative offices will reopen on Tuesday, September 4.

Important calendar dates:

• September 21: Teacher Staff Development/Student Holiday

• October 5: Elementary Fair Day – Elementary Student/Teacher holiday only

• October 12: Secondary Fair Day – Secondary Student/Teacher holiday only

• October 15, 16, 18: Parent Conferences
• 
  
• October 26: Early Release day for students
