Game schedules are now available on www.dallasisd.org/athletics
DALLAS–The Dallas Independent School District has set up a new Web site that will provide coaches, parents and students an easier way to get athletics-related information on any middle or high school team in the district.
University Interscholastic League information is offered, as well as information on game dates, cross-country, volleyball, and football game schedules.
"The purpose of the Athletics Department Web site is to offer general information to the public. We tried to make it user-friendly, not only to the community but also to the coaches," said Jeff Johnson, Dallas ISD Athletics Director.
Game fans can find directions and contact numbers to the primarily used game stadiums and pools in the district. A directory of the Athletics Department staff also is listed.
"Now parents and the community have direct access to changes, whether it's schedules, game cancellations or results," said Johnson.
