Three Academies are Scheduled, First one Taking Place Saturday, Nov. 17
DALLAS–Dallas Independent School District's Parent Services and School Choice Department invites parents of Dallas ISD's students to attend the Parent Academies scheduled for the 2007-2008 school year.
With sessions in English and Spanish, the academies provide parents information about the district's services and programs so they can enhance their knowledge about the importance of education to succeed in life.
The first academy is taking place Saturday, Nov. 17, from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at Moisés E. Molina High School, 2355 Duncanville Road. This academy is for the Southwest Elementary Learning Community, southern portion of the West Secondary Learning Community, and southwestern portion of the Superintendent's Learning Community schools.
