Students Will Experience a Day at College and Will Also Explore Career Opportunities
DALLAS–Through the Minds in Motion initiative, about 200 Dallas Independent School District students from Seagoville High School and other selected high schools will experience college for a day on Friday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Cedar Valley College, 3030 North Dallas Ave.
Participating students are part of the Majority to Minority Transfer Students program. While students learn about college life and career opportunities, their parents will receive important information about the college process, including financial aid and how to access Majority to Minority scholarships.
