Academies taking place at W. T. White and L. G. Pinkston High Schools
DALLAS–Dallas ISD's Parent Services and School Choice Department will host a parent academy at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, January 24, at W. T. White High School, 4505 Ridgeside Drive.
This academy is for the Northwest Elementary Learning Community, northern portion of the West Secondary Learning Community, and northwest section of the Superintendents Learning Community schools.
With sessions in English and Spanish, the academies provide parents information about the district's services and programs so they can enhance their knowledge about the importance of education to succeed in life.
Parents also will receive information about college preparation, scholarships and financial aid.
The next academy will take place Saturday, January 26, at L. G. Pinkston High School, 2200 Dennison St., from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
