Tutoring will focus on mathematics, English and language arts
DALLAS—The Dallas Independent School District's Project Opportunity! Program continues to offer free tutoring to 24 of its schools as the result of a grant under the No Child Left Behind Act.
Using resources allocated under the No Child Left Behind Act, Dallas ISD offers supplemental educational services to students who attend a school that has missed Adequate Yearly Progress and is in its second, third, or fourth year of the School Improvement Program as set out by NCLB.
Free tutorial services will continue throughout the school year through before and after-school and Saturday programs and during summer school. Project Opportunity! allows parents and their children to select tutorial services from a list of state-approved Supplemental Educational Services providers.

Students attending the following schools may qualify for the free tutoring program: Eligible middle schools are Edward H. Cary, E.B. Comstock, Fred F. Florence, Robert T. Hill, John B. Hood, D.A. Hulcy, J.L. Long, and Boude Storey. Eligible high schools are Bryan Adams, W.H. Adamson, David W. Carter, Thomas Jefferson, Justin F. Kimball, Moisés E. Molina, North Dallas, L.G. Pinkston, Franklin D. Roosevelt, W.W. Samuell, Seagoville, A. Maceo Smith, South Oak Cliff, H. Grady Spruce, Sunset, and Woodrow Wilson.
