Tickets Will Be Given to Students Who Enroll at the Intake Center
DALLAS–During its second year partnership with the Texas Rangers, students enrolling at the Dallas Independent School District Margaret and Gilbert Herrera Student Intake Center will receive free tickets to a Texas Rangers game.
Superintendent of Schools Michael Hinojosa and Texas Rangers representatives Karin Morris, Director Hispanic Marketing & Foundation Events; and Norm Lyons, Vice President - Governmental Affairs, will distribute the tickets on Wednesday, August 13, at 11 a.m.
The goal of this partnership is to get every student to attend classes on Monday, August 25, the first day of school.
Ticket distribution will take place at the center located at 2617 N. Henderson, just south of James Bonham Elementary School. The game is scheduled for Monday, August 18, at 7:05 p.m., when the Rangers play the Detroit Tigers.
