Dallas ISD Students To Attend College For One Day And Explore Career Opportunities

Students from Seagoville, Thomas Jefferson, and W. T. White high schools to Participate in the Minds in Motion' Program

DALLAS–About 150 Dallas Independent School District students from Seagoville, Thomas Jefferson, and W. T. White high schools will go to college for one day and experience the college life while exploring career opportunities. As part of the Minds in Motion program, the students will visit Brookhaven Community College, 3939 Valley View, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 31.

Minds in Motion is a college readiness preparation seminar which provides students the opportunity of experiencing a variety of career opportunities in the fields of health, computers, education, math/science, business, and automotive.

Parents attending the program also will receive information about the college admission process, financial aid, and the Majority to Minority scholarship.
