Feldman Rogers to Review Investigation of South Oak Cliff High School

The Dallas Independent School District has engaged the services of Feldman, Rogers, Morris & Grover, L.L.P. of Houston to conduct an independent legal review of the Office of Professional Responsibility's (OPR) recent conclusions that certain student athletes at South Oak Cliff High School earned course credit during the 2002-03, 2004-05 and 2006-07 school years.

Feldman Rogers has been directed to conduct a thorough legal review of the facts, evidence, pertinent district policies, regulations, processes, procedures and state laws with regard to the granting of course credit received by certain student athletes at South Oak Cliff High School.

"I have asked Feldman Rogers L.L.P. to take a fresh, hard look at all of the course credit issues and questions that have been raised and to provide us with their objective conclusions and recommendations," said Dallas ISD Superintendent of Schools Michael Hinojosa. "If their review uncovers new issues that need to be explored, I am confident that this firm will bring it to the district's attention."

Feldman Rogers has a vast wealth of experience representing public school districts and other educational institutions in Texas and their employees. The firm's lawyers have decades of experience counseling clients in virtually every area of school law.
