Bonham is the Only Texas School Honored
ALLAS—James B. Bonham Elementary School has been awarded the National Excellence in Urban Education Award by the National Center for Urban School Transformation (NCUST) at San Diego State University.
Bonham is among 12 schools nationwide to receive the award and is the only Texas school on the list.
At the winning schools, researchers found impressive evidence of:
Award winners will travel to the NCUST High Performing Urban Schools Symposium, May 7-8, in San Diego where they will present and discuss their strategies for success.

As part of the Reform Governance in Action training program, the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees has developed its vision and a set of core beliefs and commitments.
