Dallas ISD Hosts Third Annual Districtwide College Fair

The Free Fair is for 11th and 12th Graders

DALLAS–The Dallas Independent School District's College Readiness, Counseling Services, Student Support Services, Parent Services and School Choice departments are hosting the third annual Districtwide College Fair at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, at the Dallas Convention Center – Hall D, 650 S. Griffin St.

The free fair is for 11th and 12th graders and their parents. The purpose of the event is to provide students and their parents the opportunity to learn more about the college admission process. Students also will have an opportunity to meet college and university representatives.

Registration will be available on-site. Transportation to and from the Convention Center will be provided for students and parents who need it. Parents riding the bus must register as a volunteer and receive clearance online, by logging on to http://www.dallasisd.org/partners/main.htm; in Spanish the site is: http://www.dallasisd.org/partners/main_sp.htm. Strollers and non-school age children will not be allowed to ride on the buses. For more information about the fair, students must see their counselor.
