Hill Harper Speaks to Students at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts
DALLAS—CSI: NY actor, author and activist Hill Harper recently took time to speak with students at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.
The award-winning actor and best selling author spoke to students attending a teen summit sponsored by Dallas City Council Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine Caraway.
Harper also took time to sign his new book, "The Conversation: How Black Men and Women Can Build Loving, Trusting Relationships" which appeared at the number two spot on the New York Times bestsellers list during its first week on the shelves.
"The Dallas Independent School District and the students it serves have made substantial strides over the last several years. Its academic gains have been some of the most impressive in the country, and the district is now viewed as one of the nation's fastest improving urban school systems."
