The Free Fair Will Take Place Saturday, Oct. 31
DALLAS–The Dallas Independent School District will host its annual college fair Las Llaves del Éxito (Keys to Success), at 8 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 31, at Mountain View College, 4849 W. Illinois Ave.
The free fair, which is open to students in grades six through 12 and their parents, is a partnership with area colleges and universities, the Dallas County Community College District, the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and other non-profit agencies.
During the fair, students and their parents will learn from college representatives the process and steps that need to be taken to be considered for college admission and financial aid. Other workshops will be available to provide information about topics such as how to choose a college career and obtaining college credits while in high school (dual credit courses). All sessions will be offered in English and Spanish.
