Centennial Celebration Scheduled
DALLAS—Students and staff at Sam Houston Elementary School are planning a party to celebrate the school's 100th anniversary.
Centennial celebrations will take place at the school beginning Thursday, December 3, at 6 p.m. as the school hosts an open house and reception for alumni, community members and former employees. The student body will top off the festivities with a special program, balloon release and cup cake party at 1 p.m., Friday, December 4.
Other events are planned at the school throughout the year. Sam Houston is located at 2827 Throckmorton.
