Gifts to be donated to Arlington Park Community Learning Center Students
DALLAS–The Dallas Independent School District's Information and Technology Department has organized a gifts collection to benefit the students at Arlington Park Community Learning Center.
Unwrapped tennis shoes, socks, and toys are being collected through Dec. 11. Donations can be dropped off at the Minority and Woman Business Enterprise and Purchasing Departments and room 201 in the Administration Building, 3700 Ross Ave., and at room 341 at the Cotton Service Center II, 3701 S. Lamar St.
The gifts will be delivered to the students at Arlington Park Community Learning Center, 5606 Wayside Drive, at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 16.
"Dallas ISD students are showing improvement on college readiness indicators… and (the district) has shown improvement on Broad Prize indicators. Among the comparison Texas urban districts, only Houston ISD slightly outperforms Dallas ISD."
