Dallas ISD Hosts College Credit Information Fair

The Fair Will Provide Information About Advanced Placement, AVID, and Dual Credit Programs

DALLAS–The Dallas Independent School District's College and Career Readiness and Athletics Department, will host an information fair about how to earn college credit while still in high school from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 27, in the LBJ Auditorium at Nolan Estes Plaza, 3434 S. R.L. Thornton Freeway.

The session will offer information about the district's Advanced Placement, AVID, and dual credit programs, for students in grades eight through 11 and their parents. A breakout session will provide student athletes with NCAA guidelines.

The keynote speaker will be Torrence Robinson of Texas Instruments. Program representatives from the departments hosting the fair will be available to talk with parents and students following the general session.
